Snapshot of health fund status regarding rebates as follows: Please note, it is expected that my personal provider numbers should be up and running by the end of May 2026

ARHG (Australian Regional Health Group), which covers a number of health funds (NHAA endorsed):

• Mildura Health Fund – Naturopathy is included in Mid Extras and Five Star Extras Natural Therapy Benefits (from 1 April)

• Teachers Health Group – Naturopathy and Western herbal medicine is included across all levels of Extras cover (from 1 April).

• HBF have advised NHAA that they are finalising requirements for Naturopathy for a later date in 2026.

CBHS Health (NHAA endorsed):

• Naturopathy and Western herbal medicine criteria have been developed and approved.

• Naturopathy and Western herbal medicine members qualified before 1 January 2019 - including pre-2002 providers - may be recognised based on qualification available at the time.

Medibank is finalising their association recognition criteria and supporting implementation documentation for Naturopathy and Western herbal medicine. No formal announcement has been made as yet.

HCF have advised NHAA they are including the review of Naturopathy and Western Herbal Medicine as part of their benefit review process.

NIB have advised NHAA that it is still reviewing its position on including Naturopathy and Western herbal medicine in its extras products.

Other: Whilst discussions are in place, to date BUPA and other health funds have not yet announced plans for Naturopathy and Western herbal medicine. 

Yes and No! If you select ‘Virtual consultation’ These sessions are held entirely online via Zoom calls, from the comfort of your own home or workplace. I can also offer phone calls if internet is unavailable. I also practice 1x day per week face to face from Elgin House Women’s health specialists, in Carlton, Melbourne on Wednesdays

I prefer to suggest bloods after the initial consultation - as every person will need different investigations depending on their health goals, family history, and diagnosed conditions.

However if you prefer to get the ball rolling - see my suggested blood tests below. Just note I may need to send you for further investigations after our first session as these are not individualised recommendations. 

 Please ensure you have fasted for approximately 10 hours prior to your blood tests.

Absolutely! Women and people on birth control are most often prescribed birth control to manage symptoms of hormone imbalance. You’ll learn how to balance your hormones naturally so you can make more informed choices moving forward. For other medications these will be fully assessed for contraindications and any depletions they may cause

You will be set up with an online account to purchase everything from one of two herbal and nutritional dispensaries we work with. They offer an express service where your prescription will be delivered straight to your door!

This depends entirely on your unique presentation! If you are working with us for reproductive and hormonal support our sessions are usually scheduled monthly.

Your second consultation is a 60-minute consultation and is $240

Any follow-up sessions after this are typically 45 minutes and $190
